Contributing to the sustainable improvement of living conditions and promoting human rights in the DRC.
GRED is dedicated to poverty alleviation, public health, education, and the transfer of scientific and technical skills among vulnerable communities in Goma and North Kivu.
Institutional Partners and Supporters
A force for humanitarian action rooted in local realities.
GRED (Groupe Résolution et Développement) is a Congolese NGO headquartered in Goma. Our approach is resolutely participatory: we believe that sustainable progress relies on civic empowerment, preventive healthcare, and the acquisition of proven scientific knowledge.
Working directly in partnership with civilians, grassroots healthcare facilities, and donors, we develop emergency responses alongside long-term structural solutions.
Our Mission
To sustainably improve families' quality of life through healthcare access, inclusive education, and community development.
Our Vision
A united and resilient Congolese society, free from extreme vulnerability and driving its own socio-economic transformation.
Core Principles
Budget transparency, accountability towards donors, strict respect for human rights, and total neutrality in humanitarian assistance provided to populations.
Our 5 Operational Action Pillars
Programs formulated to address identified needs across rural and peri-urban areas.
Education & Childhood
Education support for orphans, rehabilitation of school facilities, distribution of educational kits, and reintegration of children from broken families.
Health & Medical Care
Support for primary healthcare clinics, sexual and reproductive health programs, nutritional care, and disease prevention.
Empowerment & Youth
Vocational training workshops, income-generating activities (IGA) management, and support for women's cooperatives.
WASH & Ecology
Development of safe drinking water access points, hygiene awareness campaigns, reforestation initiatives, and resilient agriculture.
Rights Protection & Social Cohesion
Citizen advocacy, community awareness campaigns against gender-based violence (GBV), peaceful mediation, and inter-ethnic peacebuilding.
"Human dignity in the eastern DRC is built through concrete solidarity and knowledge."
Faced with the successive crises affecting our North Kivu region, we refuse resignation. The Resolution and Development Group (GRED) is driven by an unwavering conviction: every child in school, every mother cared for with dignity, and every empowered family represents a bulwark against precariousness.
Our commitment is first and foremost one of proximity, honesty, and methodological rigor alongside local structures and the donors who trust us.
